Effective 30 September 2026 · Version 1.0

This policy covers the Bight iPhone app and Bight services. Bight does not sell personal information, use third-party advertising SDKs or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Who operates Bight

Bight is operated by Mitchell Sandland in Australia. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to [email protected].

Information Bight handles

How information is used

Bight uses information only to provide app features, save and synchronize your content when enabled, authenticate and recover your account, verify subscriptions, respond to support, protect the service, diagnose faults and comply with law. Automated advertising profiles are not created.

On-device and cloud processing

Core Bight tracking is designed to work on your device. If you use eligible cloud recovery and synchronization features, encrypted network connections send the necessary account and system records to Bight’s service. Local notifications, widgets and Live Activities are prepared by the app using your device data.

Sharing and service providers

Bight shares information only with processors needed to operate the service, such as Apple for authentication and purchases and providers used for hosting, databases, monitoring or customer support. These providers may process data only for the contracted service. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect users, Bight or the public.

Retention and deletion

On-device records remain until you remove them, delete app data or use Bight’s deletion controls. Synced account data is retained while the account is active and for a limited period needed for reliable deletion, security and backup expiry. An in-app account-deletion request removes the cloud account and associated customer content, subject to short-lived security records and information the law requires Bight to retain. Removing the app alone does not request deletion of cloud data.

Your choices and rights

You can use core features without an online account, export your Bight data, turn notifications off in iOS Settings, manage subscriptions through Apple, sign out, revoke devices and request account deletion in the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing and to complain to a privacy regulator. Contact [email protected] to exercise a right.

International processing

Service providers may process information outside your state or country. Bight will use appropriate contractual and technical safeguards where required. Final production hosting locations will be reflected here before cloud synchronization launches.

Children

Bight is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal information without appropriate permission, contact Bight so it can be removed.

Security

Bight uses platform security controls, encrypted transport, scoped sessions and access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. Report a suspected vulnerability to [email protected] and do not include unrelated personal data.

Changes

Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Where required, Bight will also provide notice in the app.
